Optimal Care Services is an excellent agency to work for. The agency provides support to the teachers in all aspects, including paperwork, reports and is proactive with the education and development of their teachers. Optimal Care Services has great pay, benefits, and bonuses. I love working for a company that cares about their staff.

Being a special educator allows me to create instruction that enables children to learn at their fullest potential. Meeting their educational needs creates a mutually beneficial foundation of patience, comprehension, and growth. Having the chance to see achievement through their eyes is energizing.

I went back to school because I found my passion in helping younger students with disabilities, I wanted to make a difference, and I found that as a SEIT. I love going to work, and no matter how big or small the difference I feel I'm making, I feel such satisfaction when I come home. Especially when I have a non-verbal student who starts speaking after a few months while I'm teaching him/her. . . . I'm really devoted, and the parents as well as the students see it. I absolutely adore my students and love my job. I'm so grateful I switched . . . . to teaching.

I just wanted to express the amount of joy reading this progress report on my son. Ms. Smith does an amazing job with him and always goes above and beyond to make sure he is reaching all his goals. I am very grateful for her and I thank you for putting her at Watson with us.

I've been a SEIT at Optimal Care Services since 2018. It has been a pleasure working for this agency. Everyone at Optimal has always been very helpful when most needed at any given time and there are many opportunities to learn from countless workshops. . . . As a SEIT, when I see my students making progress and achieving their goals, I take great pride in knowing that I have helped them in many ways from the beginning of the school year to the end. To be a SEIT for Optimal Care Services is a privilege because they are an outstanding SEIT agency.

Our son was 2.5 years old when officially diagnosed with a learning/speech disability. We waited for almost one year for help and was starting to feel defeated. Until Deirdre G. came into our lives. We write this with eyes full because she has been an angel sent. She has helped our son in so many ways. He has reached all his goals so much faster than we all thought was possible.

She is patient, kind, trustworthy, dedicated and passionate in everything she does. Our son absolutely adores her and that is the key to his success. Our son felt her patience and love from day one. She understands him and not many people do. Deirdre has been with our son now for less than one year and the change has been remarkable! She pushes him to be the best he can and now he is social, talkative and confident within himself. As parents of a child with a disability, it is very hard to trust anyone with him but with Deirdre it wasn’t. She made us feel comfortable from the very first day. She is more than a SEIT teacher. She has become like family. Some people are meant to be teachers in this world and Deirdre is just that. She has changed our lives and we are forever grateful for her.

I just wanted to express to you how much Susan has become part of the Mosaic family. Her dedication to the children, families, and staff at Mosaic Pre-K is second to none. She is a special education resource for the site. She has coordinated ABA calls, served as a special education friend to the staff, spoke with families, the list goes on. In a system that is overloaded with special education service shortcomings we are blessed to have Susan at our site! We just need another 14 of her for our other sites!
